Newcomer Concert at the Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik

Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) and Folkwang University of the Arts invite submissions of scores for the Newcomer Concert at the Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik 2026. The selected pieces will be presented on the first day of the festival (Friday, April 24, 2026) by the IEMA-Ensemble 2025/26.

Participation requirements
There is no age restriction for participation. It is mandatory that you are enrolled as a student at a university or college. Composers who have already been selected for the Newcomer Concert in the past are excluded from participation.
