IEMA-Ensemble in a Video Stream

Spring Concerts 1-3

IEMA Ensemble 2020/21 presents no less than three spring concerts as livestreams! Almost every programme covers a large period of time, mixing works by established composers and compositional newcomers. In a chamber music programme on March 30, 2021, listen to works by Luca Francesconi and Franco Donatoni, but also by the young Spanish self-taught composer Luis Codera Puzo. An English-inflected programme on March, 31, 2021 features works by George Benjamin and Oliver Knussen alongside a world premiere by IEMA’s own composer, Antonio La Spina. Also the third programme on April 1, 2021 offers a stylistic breadth, with pieces ranging from John Adams' classic ›Shaker Loops‹ to the theatrically inflected ›Treibstoff‹ by Carola Bauckholt.

The streams will be available for free on IEMA's YouTube Channel.The streams of the Spring Concert I and II are availabe for one month (until April 30, 2021).
