Phoebe Bognár is a flutist, composer, and performer. Her approach to creativity is sewn with vibrancy and fluidity, and explores a diverse range of artistic entities, mediums, and styles. Phoebe Bognár has performed around the world, notably at the Warsaw Autumn, Lucerne Festival, Ultima Contemporary Music Festival, Ultraschall Berlin, Bang on a Can Summer Festival, Darmstadt Summer Courses, International Contemporary Ensemble – Ensemble Evolution, Musiikin Aika Time of Music Festival, Zeiträume Festival, Sydney Festival, the Queensland Music Festival, and Dots and Loops Nonstop Festival. She has also performed worldwide with renowned ensembles and orchestras including Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Recherche, Dedalus Ensemble, Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, Opera Queensland, zone_expérimentale Basel, Speak Percussion and Clocked Out Duo. Phoebe Bognár is passionate about collaborations across genres, art forms and disciplines, and delving into new and exciting creative expression. The use of voice, improvisation, electronics, visuals, and activism are central to her creative practice and projects.
