Ya Chu Yang, French horn
Ya-Chu Yang was born in Taiwan. She received her first horn lessons at the age of nine. Since the winter semester 2015/16 she has been a master student with Esa Tapani at the Frankfurt am Main Academy of Music and Performing Arts. In 2015 she was also engaged as a substitute player by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra (TSO) in Taiwan. In addition, Ya-Chu Yang has participated in various master courses, among them the 2014 North German Horn Days, the 2014 International Artistic Horn Festival in Beijing, the 2016 International Horn Days in Höxter, the 2017 International Master Course in Sondershausen with Marie-Luise Neunecker, the Master Course of the 2017 Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival with Abel Pereira, the 2018 International Ensemble Modern Academy at Klangspuren Schwaz, the 40th Lieksa Brass Week with Saar Berger and numerous others.
