Lina Andonovska, Flute
Lina Andonovska leads a diverse career as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, improviser and collaborator. Quickly gaining recognition internationally as a fearless and versatile artist, she has collaborated with Crash Ensemble, Deutsches Kammerorchester, stargaze, Southern Cross Soloists, and Ulysses Ensemble. As an orchestral player she has worked with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, RTÉ Symphony Orchestra, Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland Symphony Orchestras, Orchestra Victoria, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Southbank Sinfonia (UK). As concerto soloist she has performed with Deutsches Kammerorchester, Orchestra Victoria, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Southbank Sinfonia.
Recent performance credits include Brett Dean’s flute concerto ›Siduri Dances‹ with Deutsches Kammerorchester, Tokyo Experimental Festival Grand Prize, appearances with stargaze at the Edinburgh International Festival, Berlin’s acclaimed Unerhörte Musik series and Musica Nova Helsinki. In 2019, she will be giving the world premiere of a new work written for her by Donnacha Dennehy at the Melbourne International Arts Festival. Lina will be releasing her debut solo release with Diatribe Records label in 2020.
