Maximiliano Estudies, Sound Director

Maximiliano Estudies works at the intersection between music and technology. By means of sound engineering and design, programming, and acoustic conception, he helps artists to realise their visions and ideas. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he has been living in Germany since 2010. He started playing percussion at the age of 12, and began taking vibraphone and composition lessons, recording, and producing his own music. He holds a music bachelor degree in jazz vibraphone from the prestigious Cologne Academy of Music and Dance, where he also studied electroacoustic composition. He studied technical informatics at the Technical University of Cologne. He work freelance for many contemporary music festivals, like Acht Brücken and Werft, and for institutions like WDR, the Cologne Academy of Music and Dance and the Freiburg Music Academy. Since 2016 he have been a permanent member of the contemporary music ensemble electronicID.
