György Zsovár, a native of Hungary, studied at the Szombathely Conservatory in Budapest and in Dresden with István Vincze (former principal French horn player of the Staatskapelle Dresden) at the Music Academy “Carl Maria von Weber”. His artistic career has been advanced by many performances, scholarships and concerts, including his membership in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and a scholarship of the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation. He gathered orchestral experience at the Dresden Philharmonie, the State Theatres of Saxony, the Theatre of Central Saxony in Freiberg and at the Hellerau Festival. After completing his diploma in Dresden, György Zsovár continued his studies with David Johnson at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. Since September 2014 he has also been studying with Johannes Otter (of the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hanover) at the Arts Academy in Bern. Further performances with renowned orchestras, such as the Giuseppe Verdi Orchestra in Milan, the Bern Chamber Orchestra or the chamber orchestras in Lugano and Locarno, followed.
