Clemens Gottschling, Horn

Clemens Gottschling (*1990), grown up in Havixbeck near Münster, got his first Horn lessons from Tobias Liedtke (musical school Havixbeck) at the age of six. He studied Horn at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold with Prof. Norbert Stertz and received additional lessons from Johannes Otter (Bern). He participated in master classes from Christian Lampert, Michael Höltzel, Sarah Willis and took part in the Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie workshop during the Klangspuren Festival.
Clemens Gottschling got his first orchestral experiences in the Jugendorchester Havixbeck, the Jungen Bläserphilharmonie NRW and in the Jungen Orchester NRW (DJO). He gave concerts with various orchestras and chamber ensembles in Germany. Concert tours led him to France, Italy, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegowina, Corea, China and to the USA. He received his first experience as a soloist with the Detmolder Kammerensemble followed by further engagements as a soloist, for example with the Collegium Musicum Steinfurt and the Landespolizeiorchester Brandenburg.
