Pablo Rus Broseta, Conductor

Pablo Rus Broseta was born in Godella (Spain) in 1983 and studied saxophone, chamber music and musical composition in the Conservatory of Valencia. He continued his musical studies in Lyon with Jean Denis Michat and
Philippe Cambreling, as well as in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the conductor Lucas Vis.
In the season 2009-2010 Pablo Rus Broseta has been assistant conductor in the "Orchestre Philarmonique de Liège" with François Xavier Roth as musical director.
He also has been named Region of Valencia Youth Orchestra´s assistant conductor for the next two seasons.
Pablo Rus Broseta was invited as participant of the International Ensemble Modern Academy, conducting in the contemporary music festival Klangspuren 2009 and Transart Festival in Bolzano. He reached the final round in the the Ensemble Intercontemporain auditions for young conductors with Pierre Boulez and Susanna Mälkki as a members of the jury. The year 2010 marks his first invitation to the International Darmstadt Summer Course for New Music as assistant conductor
He has participated in numerous master classes with Bernard Haitink (Lucerne Festival), Kurt Masur, Steven Sloane, Sir Roger Norrignton and Sylvain Cambreling. Besides he conducted The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philarmonique de Liège Beethoven Bonn Orchestra, Holland Symfonia, Bochumer Symphoniker, Ensemble Modern, Festival Strings Lucerne and Essener Philarmoniker.
Recently he has been invited to participate in the Lucerne Festival Academy Masterclass for conductors under the direction of Pierre Boulez.
